Ishiya - Chocolate Croquer Et Langue De Chat

Cravingness: ★★★★★

Chocolate Croquer Et Langue De Chat (白之戀人) is a souvenir from Japan that could only be bought no where in center tokyo but the tax free shop in the airport. There were lots of wrapping with this box. First the outer paper wrapping, then the hard paper box and finally a exquisite tin box. The tin box is so pretty I am definitely gonna keep it after I have finished the whole thing. The box came with 2 flavours, milk chocolate and white chocolate.

Milk Chocolate (in white wrapper)

The biscuit was soft and had a rich butter taste. The chocolate in between the biscuits was surprising solid. I thought the texture would be in chocolate paste or cream, but it was like normal chocolate block, just slightly softer. So there was something to munch on every time you bit on the biscuit, not having everything melt on your palate once they were taken.

White Chocolate (in greenish black)

The biscuit was also soft and had a rich butter taste. The white chocolate again contain the same texture. It tasted sweeter than the milk chocolate, but the sweetness was drawn down by the biscuits. The chocolate also tasted rich in milk.
