Blisshive - Not As Good As I Expected

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★☆☆☆

BlissHIVE Bakery Café is a bakery at Tai Hang that makes fresh bread, it is also a pretty nice cafe to spend the afternoon (ambiance wise). The floor to ceiling window allows sufficient sunlight into the cafe. I love the cheerful music playing at the background and the constant flow of coffee aroma in the air. The ambience here relaxes me.

The Prestigious Piper Heidsieck Champagne

Champagne! Everyone loves champagne. Champagne is great to celebrate especial occasions or to simply make yourself happy. This particular brand I am introducing today is also a fond of the sexiest woman at all times - Marilyn Monroe. When asked in 1953 what she wore to sleep, Marilyn Monroe cooed, “Five drops of Chanel No. 5,” before adding, “But I start each day with a glass of Piper-Heidsieck because it warms my body.” If you have not ever tried Piper-Heidsieck, you are totally missing out. But no worries my reader, Food Craver is collaborating with Piper-Heidsieck and is offering a special discount code for all of you to feel the Monroe spirit. Read until the end to get your deal! =)

Common Room - Cold Food In Tiny Portion

Price: $$
Cravingness: ★★☆☆☆

My third and very last restaurant for the Dining City Restaurant Week was Common Room. I was not too sure at the beginning if the dinner menu worth a visit during the RW, but the menu did not look bad so my plan went on.

Common Room is located at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, Central. With a light projection of its logo on the floor of Wo On Lane, you could probably guess Common Room is a pretty hip place to dine in. The furnishing at Common Room is rather rustic and woody, very lounge like and cool.

Gonpachi - Iwate Fair

Price: $$$$
Cravingness: ★★★★☆

So you have known from my previous review on Gonpachi that Gonpachi is a famous Izakaya originated from Japan and they are passionate in bringing the best quality Japanese ingredients and Sake to Hong Kong. Recently Gonpachi continues its motto and brought back fresh ingredients from Iwate and created a seasonal menu available from now until the end of March. So grab your chance before it's too late!

Bao Wow - Fast, Casual, Affordable Bao

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆

If you ask what is the recent food trend in Hong Kong, it is definitely Bao. Bao has made a scene in Hong Kong and if you notice more restaurants are adding bao into the menu, recent examples would be Comfort by Gold Harlans or Mayta Peruvian Kitchen. And of course there are restaurants that specialise in only bao, so today I am going to introduce to you a pretty new one in Wanchai called Bao Wow.

Madam Sixty Ate - Lovely Dinner with Impeccable Service

Price: $$$$
Cravingness: ★★★★☆

As you know my Restaurant Week started with a quite unpleasant dining experience, fortunately Madam Sixty Ate made it up. I have always been wanting to go to Madam Sixty Ate  but I have heard some negative comments about it which delayed my plan of visit. I checked the RW Dinner menu and it looked pretty solid, so why not checked it out myself?

Les Fils à Maman - Delightful Food But Unwelcoming Service

Price: $$
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆

Les Fils a Maman is my first restaurant to go for the Dining City Restaurant Week, I have to say it was a bad start. Les Fils a Maman is a French restaurant located in Central runs by French people. The food was simple yet delicious, the ambiance was cosy and lively but the service was unwelcoming.

Secret Ingredient - The Working Women Saviour

I love cooking, very much, but I seldom cook because it takes too much time buying the ingredients, carrying the goodies back home, marinating the meats, washing the veggies and do all the chopping and slicing etc etc etc. The process can go on and on, it get worse if you are planning for desserts as well. You do not really have time to do all those especially if you have to work, sometimes you just want someone to do all the prep work for you. And today, I am going to introduce that someone to you, she is Secret Ingredient.

Mymy Caffè - Oh My! Decadent Hot Chocolate!

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★★★☆

Ever since my first sip of rich velvety hot chocolate in Barcelona, I have always been a big fan of hot chocolate. Not just any chocolate, but thick velvety chocolate. Back in Hong Kong, most of the time I go to Vero's Chocolate for their decadent hot chocolate. Recently I am introduced to Italian hot chocolate by Henry and I have to say I first found the texture funny. For those of you who have not tried Italian hot chocolate before, I am going to introduce Mymy Caffè to you.

Red Chicken - Korean Chicken & Beer Hype

Price: $$
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆

The Korean Fried Chicken hype is not seeing an end. Crazy crowds in Hong Kong does not mind queuing for hours just to get some Fried Chicken into their belly. Red Chicken, located at Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the to go list for Korean Fried chicken after Fairyland and Chicken HOF & soju. Continue reading for my tips for skipping the queue and how I think Red Chicken tasted.

Teakha - Nice place to Chill

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆1/2

If you are looking for a cafe to spend a lazy afternoon, Teakha would be your choice. Located at Sheung Wan, this al fresco tea house offers a good range of teas and delicate cakes and pastries. There are a few tables available outdoor, but be warned that this place is very popular and tends to get very crowded during the weekend. Try to arrive before 2pm before the crowd shows up.
