Spicy Chicken Pot has been a hit for a while already but is still trending. Tonight we went to Spring Trinity to try out their spicy chicken pot. Spring Trinity offers all you can eat hotpot food and drinks (not hotpot) with their spicy chicken pot at a price of HKD$168. The hotpot comes in two broth choices - Sichuan Spicy or Pork Bone. The hotpot food choice was not vast but enough to have you going.

Fu Yee Noodles is one of my favourite lunch spot in Kownloon Bay. They offer the BEST beef brisket dishes nearby the area. Fu Yee Noodles are always packed during the afternoon, lines appears early and everyone craves for their beef brisket dishes. 

Sun Hing - Best Midnight Munchies

Argh, it is midnight and I am hungry, where can I find good food!? It is always way passed midnight when our stomach is yelling for food. The craving is amplified especially after a night out or partying. When it hits 3am, my favourite restaurant to go would be in no doubt Sun Hing Restaurant (新興食家).

I used to wonder how could Dèlifrance priced their tuna egg mayonnaise sandwich that expensive (relatively) in Kowloon Bay, when there are sandwiches shops like Groves and local ones near by the area, but today, I have my answer.


As a matter of convenience, I went to Johnny Cafe for lunch to go after knowing they offer Tuna egg mayonnaise sandwich too. I was a bit worried at first but seeing they did grill the ciabatta warm. So I thought it couldn't be too bad?

Trader Joe - Speculoos Cookies

This is gonna be a short entry but I am sharing this awesomely scrumptious Speculoos Cookies from Trader Joe's that I bought when I was in US. My eyes were shinning like crazy when I saw this, because I couldn't really find Speculoos Cookies in Hong Kong. (Okay, I might not be looking deep enough. Tell me where if you find it :) )



CoCo Espresso - Coffee made with Heart

Everytime my customer (also a good friend) come over to Hong Kong, we will go for some coffee. He, being a coffee sales + barista in Latvia, loves Hong Kong coffee culture. He says the coffee culture in Latvia is very commercialised, people drinks only Starbucks and even some barista does not care about coffee. Anyway, this time we went to CoCo Espresso.

Yat Yuet Sing - Comfort Food ♥

New comfort food spot found near by my work area in Kowloon Bay! Actually it was quite far from my work place,so I have never heard of or been to the place. It is a small Chinese fast food shop in an alley in Ngau Tau Kok which could be easily missed if not paying attention.
