Roundhouse is the first Taproom in Hong Kong that features 25 types of crafts beers on tap which some are exclusively offered to them. Apart from the craft beer, Roundhouse is also famous for their authentic Texas barbecue. As a big fan of Chef Austin Fry, I went to try the barbecue items here tonight.

Stack - Lovely Pancake Spot

Pancakes! I believe seeking the best pancake in town is always my on-going mission. Pancakes are breakfast essential to me, it could be a great brunch choice, but to be completely honest, I think it is more a breakfast thing than brunch thing. There are several pancakes shops in Hong Kong, but many opens at noon, serving only the lunch, brunch and dinner section. Stack, the pancake tapas bar founded by the twins Caleb and Joshua Ng, who are also behind Common Ground cafe, bringing pancakes into another level, pairing them with all kinds of meats, vegetables and fruits. Another plus point for Stack is that they open at 11am over the weekend, to cater the morning pancake crave! And there we went all the way to Sai Ying Pun just for Stack's pancakes.

Holy Crab - Put On Your Apron and Get Your Hands Dirty!

I was rather excited to hear the opening of Holy Crab, an American-style seafood restaurant specialised in Cajun Cuisine located at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong. Holy Crab offers freshly seafood aired from America several times a week,  features "pick your own catch" approach and traditional Cajun cooking method. The Menu is designed to be shared on the table, and the seafood is all served on a bucket, unshelled. So ladies and gentleman, it's time to get your hands dirty and have some fun!

Shangri-la New March Seasonal "The Best of London" Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea fans will be delighted to know that Island Shangri-la has launched a monthly seasonal afternoon tea on top of their classic afternoon tea set for a while. In March, the new seasonal afternoon tea is called "The Best of London". Apart from this very British seasonal afternoon tea, there is also a event at the hotel lobby showcasting a classy England Telephone Photo Booth where fan who took the most creative pictures can win a pair of tickets to the Shangri-la in UK! Ngau Saam Gun - A Playful Twist on Chinese Cuisine

Nested on Wellington street is a new modern Chinese restaurant called Ngau Saam Gun. "Ngau" meaning cow in Chinese which automatically draw our focus on beef. Ngau Saam Gun gurantees the freshest beef possible as one of the owners is a beef supplier. Playing on Modern Chinese, Ngau Saam Gun uses Western Spices on all of the dishes aiming to surprise our palate. "Local" beef is being used here, and by local, they actually mean cow from China. It got to our nerves for a bit as we all known how unreliable China's food is, or at least to me. Yet after my dinner tonight, I can tell in confidence that their beef quality is legit.

Cafe R & C - Cute 3D Kitty Latte Art

If you are a Facebook or Instagram user, you must have seen this cute cup of beverage at least once. It is either from Allegretto in Taim Sha Tsui or Cafe R&C in Causeway Bay. These two cafes are always packed and has long queue due to this signature cup of cappuccino, especially over the weekends. One might easily wait over an hour for this cup of coffee. I went Cafe R&C for dinner on a weekday and luckily there was no one waiting.

Upper Station Street has become the new intimate dining neighbourhood filled with new and interesting restaurants and pubs. The latest opening is a gastropub called Crafty Cow serving a great selection of crafts beers and features "Third Culture" food. Crafty Cow serves western dishes with a touch of Chinese by using Chinese ingredients and sauces. They do not emphasize on nose-to-tail dining, but they serve the craziest organ that I have not ever imagine myself eating. Read on to see what I had!

The afternoon tea is to promote the new fragrance L'ile Au Thé with a lovely and smoothing tea launching in Joyce Beauty in April 2015, so many items are infused with tea elements. I dine at the Piccolo Pizzeria & Bar at Tai Hang from time to time as it is close to home. The food option at the Tai Hang store is quite limited, I have always known the other branches of Piccolo offer other dishes such as pasta but I have never had chance to pay a visit, Recently I was invited by Sam for a dinner gathering at the Piccolo at kenndy town along with a few foodie friends. Finally I got to try their pasta!

Ginzeng x Check In Taipei - GinZeng Tasting

I love Ginseng, I love the taste and the aroma of Ginseng. I drink Ginseng Tea all the time and even use Ginseng infused Shampoo from South Korea. I do not know there is a difference between American Ginseng (花旗參) and Chinese/ Korean Ginseng (人參) until I went for a tasting event hosted by Ginzeng at Check In Taipei. The event was rather educational and I feel lucky to understand different catergories of Ginseng all at once.

Bibo - Dine In A World of Art

Bibo the quirkiest French fine dining restaurant in Central Soho, is a truly arts-meet-food restaurant in Hong Kong. The restaurant is basically a contemporary art gallery with murals, paintings and sculptures at every corner of the restaurant. Dishes are also a piece of art with glamourous presentation. Service is topnotch and is definitely better than many of the starred Michelin restaurants in Hong Kong. Once you have been to Bibo, you will fall in love with this place.

Grain de Sel - The New Takeaway Creperie

The popular French creperie Fleur de Sel has recently opened a new take away concept creperie, Grain de Sel in the Sheung Wan neighbourhood. The new Grain de Sel offers traditional French galettes and crepes made with a new recipe and in a special machine to make take away feasible! Fans can now enjoy quality galettes anywhere they want!

Spade by Lassana - Festive Special Honey Toast

There are something in honey toast box that we love. The beautiful appearance, the delicious toppings and the crunchy toast with soft and spongy inner. If you have been trying to queue for Dazzling Cafe without luck, I would recommend an equally nice cafe to you, Spade by Lassana.

Hong Kong is always crazy about Christmas, Christmas lightings are up on the buildings along the seafront, decorations and Christmas trees are everywhere! Harvey Nichols Restaurant & Bar is among one of them and has just launched their Christmas and New Year's Eve menu. Beef & Liberty - Retry & Congrats for 2015 Bib Gourmand

First of all, a big congratulation to Beef and Liberty for being listed as the one and only Bib Gourmand burger restaurant on Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2015. If you read my previous preview on Beef & Liberty, I was upset about my burger being dry. I came back to Beef & Liberty under invitation as I was told Chef Neil Tomes improves his burgers' recipe from time to time. I wonder if my first was a bad time for Beef & Liberty, so I have to come back again.

Flame on! Gaucho, the award wining Argentinian steakhouse originated in UK has recently made its stop in the steakhouse battle scene in Hong Kong. Located at the LHT Tower, the very heart of Central, Gaucho Hong Kong is the first flapship restaurant in Asia (Wo-hoo!). I am very excited about its opening, but not as excited as Henry, as Gaucho is his favourite steakhouse on Earth and he can talk hours about it. We thought reservation would be difficult, but to our surprise, we got our reservation pretty easily.
