Roundhouse is the first Taproom in Hong Kong that features 25 types of crafts beers on tap which some are exclusively offered to them. Apart from the craft beer, Roundhouse is also famous for their authentic Texas barbecue. As a big fan of Chef Austin Fry, I went to try the barbecue items here tonight.

Zafran - Theatre of Tapas

Zafran, the Spanish Restaurant under Aqua Group, is among one of the popular Spanish Restaurants in Hong Kong. That's well known, but what you do not know is that Zafran now offers a 15 course degustation menu named "Theatre of Tapas". Created by Spanish Chef Pedro Samper, the menu is designed to bring his best version of Spanish on the table. Be prepared to be blown away!

Stockton - The Mysterious British Whisky Bar

I have heard much raves about Stockton but do not understand why until tonight, when I finally set foot in Stockton.

It seems the 'no restaurant sign' is the new nom as more hip restaurants are doing it. With Stockton among one of the many wicked restaurants in town, do expect the same. The entrance of Stockton is well hidden through a tunnel of dark alley, you could spend a good 10 minutes keep reading the street number but could not find it. If you look at the picture below, Stockton's entrance is where the lady holding a piece of paper is standing.

Harlan Goldstein's Comfort - New Casual Dinning Experience!

I have a rather complex feelings on Harlan Goldstein's latest opening Comfort at where Strip House was once located. I mourn for the temporary closure of Strip House, but I am also elated to try a new casual dining experience created by Harlan! At Comfort, you do not need to care about the "smart casual" dress code or worry about the extravagance environment that urges you to behave. In Comfort, as it's name suggested, it is a restaurant aims to provide a causal environment to bring comfort ambiance and food to all diners.

Mayta - Value Peruvian Lunch Buffet

Mayta Peruvian Kitchen, the exotic restaurant in Central, recently launches "Just for Lunch" with an great range of choices from their buffet table with desserts at only HKD118. If you are a hungry eater, you can also opt for main course for an additional HKD50! Seriously, a tiny box of salad with a small sandwich already cost you a hundred at Simply Life or Urban Bakery in Central, why not Mayta then for an even more freshly made salad?

Common Room - Cold Food In Tiny Portion

My third and very last restaurant for the Dining City Restaurant Week was Common Room. I was not too sure at the beginning if the dinner menu worth a visit during the RW, but the menu did not look bad so my plan went on.

Common Room is located at the heart of Lan Kwai Fong, Central. With a light projection of its logo on the floor of Wo On Lane, you could probably guess Common Room is a pretty hip place to dine in. The furnishing at Common Room is rather rustic and woody, very lounge like and cool.

The Pasta Place - Super Cute Homestyle Cafe

I am a big pasta lover! There are so many different kinds of pasta with different sauces and different ways of making them. I do not connect to many restaurants in Hong Kong as they do not make al denta pasta. I recently went to the Pasta Place under invitation and fell in love with this cute cafe.

Mind Blowing Food at the Quirky Salon 10

Salon Number 10, the funky bar located above Lan Gwai Fong recently launched a dinner service headed by Chef Austin, the former chef of Brickhouse. If you have not been to Salon 10 before, you might have difficulties to locate where it is as the restaurant & bar does not even has a name on its door! Yet you can easily spot Salon Number 10 from its crazily cool entrance.

Ted's Lookout - Delicious Tacos

I had been trying to date friends to Ted's lookout but without success in the past few months. Not until my birthday month hit and I finally got a say in dining option.

The mere reason I wanted to bring my friends to Ted's lookout is because of its fun vibe and most importantly its attractive free corkage since they had not got the alcohol license yet. As I mentioned earlier we finally went for dinner, but we were stupid enough not to check if the free corkage still applies upon reservation. (plus there is no reservation now -_-, my lovely friends..) You could have possibly guess by now, Ted's lookout already got their alcohol license and there is no free corkage anymore! (Sob sob!)

Jimmy's Kitchen - BEST Chicken a La King in Town

Jimmy's Kitchen is my recent new fond located on Wyndham street that offers British Cuisine. Surprised as I was, I never knew about this place, I first thought it was a Chinese Restaurant just by its name. Yet they do offer Chinese dishes, especially this Chicken a La King is the best Chicken a La King in town!

Yardbird - My Bon Chon Chicken Substitute!

Dining at Yardbird can sometimes be frustrating, because it is hard to get a table. Weekday is probably a better time to try Yardbird as it is definitely less crowded. So does Yardbird really live up to the hype? Actually it depends what you are looking for - Food, Drink or Vibe. Food wise, there were several dishes that impressed me. Drink wise, they have an extended drinks list and I love their whisky collection. If you are coming in a party of two, Yardbird is not in romantic settings and might be too noisy for you. While if you come in a big group who also happens love to drink, you will have a great night here.

Fatty Crab - Finger Licking Good!

Fatty Crab, originated from United Stated is the new restaurant and bar offering South East Asian cuisine on Old Bailey Street, Central. Bringing over many spectacular dishes like Chili Crab, Fatty Duck and Pickled Tomato and Pork Belly from NYC,  along with the amazing bar offering unique and interesting cocktails list, Fatty Crab is going to be the next big hit in Hong Kong.

Inspired by Malaysian, Thai, Indonesian and Vietnamese cuisine, be prepare to have your palette spiced by the Fatty Crab's dishes. Flavourful, robust, sweet and spicy are what you will find in here. Even cocktails that I had tonight infused with ingredients such as ginger syrup, lime juice, thai basil etc. Fatty Crab is indeed an exotic dinning experience.

There was once when I wanted to try every single burger place in Hong Kong, The Champs was on my to try list. The Champs is located at the Charter House, somewhere I wouldn't say is at the heart of Wanchai. It is quite a coincident that it falls into one of my walking route from work, where I spotted its huge poster advertising their burger and know about it's existence.

The Champs is a bar restaurant in American settings. The place is spacious, with an open bar table at the front door and lots of stools and booth seatings further inside.  There is two big TV screens in the middle and at the end of the pub restaurant, playing sports channel that apparently drawing many guys here. The ambiance is quite lively with suitable noise level which is perfect for happy hour and also for big party, which happened to accommodated one the night I went.

Grand Central Bar & Grill - Degust The 1912 Titanic Menu

It's been a century since the tragic accident of the world's biggest and luxurious ship Titanic. The media is all about the Titanic, and so are the restaurants in Hong Kong. The Titanic menu is definitely a gimmick to attract customers, but I am interested to know what is on the Titanic Menu in 1912.  So I brought my friend to Grand Central Bar and Grill tonight to degust the once luxurious menu on the Titanic.

Grand Central Bar and Grill (GC) is located on the far end of the Civic Square at the Element, I have been to the area for quite a few times and the ambiance is guaranteed nice in there.
