Shabushabu and sukiyaki were once a fad two or three years ago, now the heat has gone down but there are still lovers around. Nabe One is a new shabushabu and sukiyaki shop at Tsim Sha Tsui, a branch shop after a successful launch of the main branch at Tuen Mun. Nabe One is also under the same group as Sushi One, Monster Sushi and baby Cafe.

My sister brought me to The best for spicy chicken pot before and I quite like it. The spiciness was good, the spicy aroma can make you choke and the spicy sauce can make you cry. Their chicken is very tender, juicy and is very flavourful as it absorbs the essence of the spiciness from the sauce. We had Medium spicy tonight, but if you can take spicy, I suggest you get Large Spicy!

Spring Trinity - Spicy Chicken Hotpot

Spicy Chicken Pot has been a hit for a while already but is still trending. Tonight we went to Spring Trinity to try out their spicy chicken pot. Spring Trinity offers all you can eat hotpot food and drinks (not hotpot) with their spicy chicken pot at a price of HKD$168. The hotpot comes in two broth choices - Sichuan Spicy or Pork Bone. The hotpot food choice was not vast but enough to have you going.

Gyu Jin | Lovely Sukiyaki Broth

This was actually my second visit to Gyu Jin. The reason that drove me to dine there was their Haagen Dazs ice-cream buffet corner, Yum Yum! The queue at the front door was actually pretty long, I waited for more than 20 minutes before the number on my ticket was called.

Gyu Jin has time limited for its buffet - Once you have ordered the broth, you would have 100 minutes to enjoy your buffet. There are more timed hotpot restaurants nowadays which I dislike as it makes dining rush. Well some restaurants didn't really implement it for real but just stating it on the meal and hope some caring customer would obey this lovely rule themselves.

Katte Shabushabu | Selfish Shabushabu

When you get older, you somehow look back time and think about all those happy and funny memories and moments you had when you were still young. Somehow you started to miss your childhood friends and then it came to a time when kindergarden mates reunion.

Our lunch gathering began in a small Japanese restaurant, which is famous for shabu shabu. None of us actually interested in hotpot in the middle of the day except the one who proposed it. Anyhow, it is quite interesting to dine in this restaurant since we can have our own pot of shabu shabu.
