If you are looking for a cafe to spend a lazy afternoon, Teakha would be your choice. Located at Sheung Wan, this al fresco tea house offers a good range of teas and delicate cakes and pastries. There are a few tables available outdoor, but be warned that this place is very popular and tends to get very crowded during the weekend. Try to arrive before 2pm before the crowd shows up.
I love the wooden tables and chairs at Teahka, but it gets a bit wobbly as they are set at a gentle slope. The main tea house is actually quite small, but big enough to cater a kitchen, some display area for commodities and space or ordering. A beeper is given after you made your order, then you can go back to your seat, do your thing and wait for the tea to get ready.
Pumpkin & Honeycomb Pie - HKD42
There are numerous hype about the green tea cheese cake, but my stomach opt for the pumpkin & honeycomb pie. A rich orangy pie with white frosting at the center with golden crust and honey comb sprinkle totally won my heart over the monotone green cheese cake. The creamy pie was sweet with strong pumpkin taste and was also very spicy with ginger bites in it. The sweet frosting at the tip and the crispy and sweet honeycomb balanced out the spiciness of the pie. I was expecting the honeycomb crisp tastes somewhat like Softree one's but I guess I thought too much :P.
Keemun Milk Tea with Red Date Honey - HKD42
The Keemun milk tea was very smoothing with a subtle red date note. It was quite rich and felt quite heavy on your palate. The milk tea finished with a long lingering sweet taste on your palate. This tea is very lovely.

I actually think Teakha is a bit pricy but I guess everywhere else pretty much priced the same. Any way it is utmost important that I spent some chill hours at Teakha enjoying nice tea and pie under a lovely weather.
