Chicha is the first and the best Peruvian restaurant in Hong Kong offering an electric range of authentic Peruvian dishes. I have been there a few times and Chicha never lets me down. It's the restaurant perfect for romantic dates, fun friends and family gatherings.

Quinoa Salad - HKD70
We started with a refreshing and sweet quinoa salad comprised of tomato, corn, green onion, cilantro, raisin and lime juice.
Scallops Ceviche - HKD75/pc
The scallop ceviche was one of the best dish of the night. The sauce, infused with Aji Amarillo butter, soy, honey and lime was creamy and utterly flavourful. The scallop was insanely smooth and sweet! The spring onion sprinkles topped a herby freshness to the dish. I can have tens of this!
Causa Trio - HKD195
The causa at Chicha tasted much nicer than the ones at Mayta Peruvian Kitchen. I was very impressed with the causa as the potato ball was heavenly smooth and the topping was excellently paired, each carried distinct taste.I love the Black Cod Causa which was the most flavourful one. The creamy yellow Aji De Galline Causa was sweet and mildly spicy. The Squid Casua was the least impressive one but the causa gave a lemony note which I found lovely.
Pisco Sour - HKD80
This pisco sour was good but tiny portioned. The foam turned rough quickily after sitting for a while.
CHICHA MORADA - HKD50
A fruity non alocoholic drink that I love made with purple maize and mixed spices!
Oh My Cod Anticucho - HKD95
The Oh My Cod truly is an oh my skewer! The cod was utterly smooth with a crispy, smokey skin and paired excellently with ponzu miso and Aji Rocoto Aioli,
The Lechon Anticucho - HKD75
The Lechon anticucho was less impressive, tasted more Asian style. The pork belly cubes were mostly made up with creamy fats. I was actually more impressed by how perfectly shaped the pork belly cubes are.
Tacos - HKD65/pc
Tacos at Chicha are served in hard crispy taco. I didn't like the Beef Taco, the short rib was a tad rough and stringy in texture, flavour wise was not particularly good either.
PICARONES - HKD60
Picarones, the sweet potato donut is a Peruvian traditional dessert. Chicha paired the crispy donuts with an addicting orange spiced syrup. It's a delightful dessert to end the dinner.Dining at Chicha is infatuating as the dishes are heavenly seasoned that tantalise and surprise my palate. At Chicha, the only thing you need to worry about is your wallet, as the items are on the pricy side. One can easily spend our HKD500 here.
