利強記北角雞蛋仔 - Waffles

Before we held our shopping in the computer enter nearby, I had this sudden crave for a nice thick waffles in Chinese style when we came by the North Point Pancakes Restaurant. The line was not that long, so I joined in the queue for my lovely waffle.

There weren't much people ordering the waffles, most of the people were looking for their signature egg pancakes. The wait for the waffles was longer than the egg pancakes, which was a good thing since it proved they made to order. If not, I would have a cold and hard waffles at end.

The waffles was REAL thick in size, especially when folded, which made it pretty hard to bite. The waffle was very crispy, but soft on the inside. The crispy crust was somehow too crusty, it hurt my inner mouth when chewing. The waffles had a strong egg taste, which truly deserve its fame of offering great egg pancakes in HK. I also ordered extra peanut butter for toppings, but most of the sauces ended up at the bottom of the paper bag while holding it upright. It would have been better if the sauce weren't be that liquid.

Egg Pancake to go next time.
