Si Sun - Nice Local Hamburger Restaurant

This day I went back from China through Lowu and decided to pay a visit to Si Sun Fast Food Restaurant. Luckily there wasn't any queue when I arrived at the restaurant and there were some seats available for dinning in. As squash as usual, I made my way to a seat in between madly in loved couple and energetic students.

I decided to have a light lunch so I could have some egg pancakes around the corner later on. I went to the old spot to order my food but did not realize they have now got a reception for food ordering. Embarrassed as I was, I ordered a Cheese & Egg Hamburger with tomato sauce. I got my tag and the food was served fast.

The Hamburger had such an appetizing look, but I had to hold my drooling as I had to snap a few photos before enjoying it. The bun was slightly toasted to give a light crusty texture but was mostly soft. I love the drizzling sesame on top of the bun. The cheese was warm but had no intention in melting. Disappointing but understandable as the whole burger would not be baked in an oven.

Before heading to Lowu and back to my final last month training in China, I had a quick dinner at Sogo's Food Paradise in its basement. Exploiting the name of food paradise, I found it difficult to chose which restaurant's food I would like better. At last I decided to get a bowl of Udon from Bon.

Glico Pretz - Corn

My roomie is crazy about this Pretz Corn flavour and i bet she could buy up to 10 boxes in a roll if there is enough stock available in the local supermarket. Unfortunately this flavour is somehow always out of stock, but recently I have this luck in purchasing this box and to be honest, it was not something that I like.

Alpen - Strawberry &Yogurt Bar

This Alpen Strawberry & Yogurt Fruit bar gave me a festive Christmas feeling. The crispy rice & wheat flakes acts as a pine tree base, with real bright red freeze-dried strawberries randomly hanging around the tree, finished off with a dizzling white yogurt topping wrapping around the bar like a ribbon and a stack of snow at bottom. Pretty isn't it?

Having the yogurt topping spreading across the entire bar, the fruit bar is too sweet for me. The texture is also pretty sticky, chewy and moist. The bar would make you pretty clumpsy if you take the whole one out but not eating it bit by bit through the plastic wrapper.

Glico Pejoy - Maccha Mousse

New tried flavour is the Muccha Mousse in a name of Pejoy under Glico which I have never heard before. What is special about Pejoy is that the fillings are inserted within the bread stick instead of coating on it the conventional way, but I am sure you should have tried someone similar under different brand names before. I wasn't realise the box came with two separate packages, which is good 'coz I don't need to consume the whole box in one go.

Best Berry - Getting Rid Of The Green Tea Flavour?

Walking around in iSquare, I could not restrict myself to have another cup of froyo from my favourite Best Berry! Although I still havn't been able to finished my Froyo race yet and the number of froyo shops are increasing, I could not make any time out to try those shops in the soho area or mid-levels! Is Froyo this much of a sophisticated yogurt that normal people who does not live in mid-level are not granted a chance to try the froyo out?

Anyway, when I was thinking it should be about time to try the green tea flavour instead of my always favourite original tart, the waitress told me they are not producing Green Tea anymore and are replacing it with Mango! Does it mean Green Tea was not making a sale? Well then, what else could I get.

Prince Restaurant - An Equality Between Quality & Price?

In this Sunday afternoon, I brought my family to the Prince Restaurant for dim sum where it was renowned for its fine and pricey dinning. The restaurant environment was nice and quiet, pretty spacious and was nicely furnished. The area was filled up with well-dressed customers and waiter. We were seated at a table in the private area. The utensils were nicely setup and nice pre-meal snacks were served before we ordered our food.
