Milkissimo - Pricy Gelatto

Having heard of a gelatto store in The One, I went circling around the floors and finally brought myself to Milkissimo. I was pretty excited when I saw the gelatto store but got even more excited when I saw the cup size, as in a negative way.

2 Flavours Cup Size and 3 Flavours Cup Size

The cup was extremely small and could not hold much gelatto at all. Even though the gelato shoots up the hill, it still did not fill the cup. No matter how great their Hokkaido milk quality is, the gelatto was still pretty pricy. I mean, the cup size was similar to agnes b froyo tasting cup's size.

Anyway, you could try the gelatto out before deciding which flavour you would like to go for. I tried several but did not dare to ask more since the waitress looked annoyed.

Pineapple Yogurt Gelatto

The pineapple gelatto was very sour with a pint taste of milk. I am not sure but I guess it was pineapple yogurt we ordered. The Pistachio was heavenly tasty! The pistachio taste was very strong, and you could occasionally tasted some pistachio skin or nuts in the gelatto. The taste was fresh and was light on the palate. The sesame gelatto tasted nice too. The sesame taste was strong but was not as fresh a taste as the Pistachio. Both the gelatto was very tarty, solid and creamy to taste.

TO CONCLUDE...

In general, the gelatto in Milkissimo was pretty nice. However the portion was simply too pathetic to enjoy the cup. With the same price, you could have a pretty huge cup of froyo already. A funny thing that I noticed while eating at the store was that the store's background music sang the store's name in chorus. The song seemingly kept looping at the restaurant. I suddenly felt sorry for the staff working there. As a customer that comes and goes within 30 minutes, I don't really mind listening to the same song for that limited period of time. Yet the staffs have to listen to that song for the whole day. I bet they must hate the song very much lol.
