Two of my ex-cabinet friends were graduating this year, I was invited back to my old Uni for graduation photos taking. To be honest, I didn't like the Uni at all, only the people and the Cafe was the things I would love and miss.
Since most of us were hungry, we went to the Cafe for a light lunch. My favourite food in the cafe was Beef Burger, I was very excited about having it again.
The Cafe worked like Maxim Restaurant, but instead of order your food at the counter and wait for your food at the food pick up point, you have to get in line, queue until you are at the counter, order the food, wait for your food, get your drink and pay for the food all in one line. The ordering system was very inefficient, yet it has worked for years and seemingly has no intention to change.
There wasn't much people on a Saturaday afternoon, so I could ordered my Beef Burger pretty quickly. Just seconds after I ordered my food, the staff was stacking my beef burger already! I asked if the patty was cold, they said it was warm. I was very disappointed that the beef patty was pre-made. I guess it was because the weekend was their non-busy hour, so the food was less fresh, but I would expect the restaurant to made to order but not made to stock food.
My first bite on the burger proved the 'warm' patty turned out to be a pre-made cold beef patty. There were also lettuce and tomatoes in the burger, however they were also not fresh at all. The burger was too dry to taste and had to add on some ketchup on it.
I was actually surprised by the poor quality of the burger. I hope the deteriorate quality was really due to the less traffic weekend, or else I would be greatly disappointed. (Although already was.)
