Lotte Toppo | Strawherry

Its time to clear up my snack drawer! In order to start my diet real soon, I have to polish every single of my delicious evil snacks. Fortunately many of the snacks that I bought came in several little packs in a box, so I would not end up polishing literally everything by myself. So, you should be seeing my updating lots of snack reviews these coming weeks.

I have no idea why I bought this lotte's biscuit sticks in the first place, I guess it was the packaging. Came to think about it, I don't think I like Lotte's snack much, perhaps I am biased.

One thing of Lotte's Toppo differs from Glico's Pocky is that it did not posses the adorable aroma upon wrapping the pocket. However, the overall packaging and the outlook of the biscuit sticks itself did look very nice and seemingly moreish. The box came in 4 individual small packs, so its nice so I could share them with my friends/ colleagues.

Check the picture below, the biscuit sticks were nicely colored in roasted yellow with a pinkish strawberry filling throughout the sticks.

Appearance might take a stand in affecting one's perception towards the object but would not always stands true. The biscuit stick having its nice look, however was not crispy and was a bit on the soft side. The strawberry filling had an artificial flavour and was rather sweet. The texture was very creamy, I guessed it was due to its milk content.

To conclude, since comparison is available, I would very much likely prefer Glico's product than Lotte's. This box proved I am not a big fan of Lotte's, I might cut down buying their snack or consider buying them in the least priority.
