Wired Cafe - The Dutch Baby

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆1/2

Craving for something during tea time and having no luck in getting a seating at Coffee Alley (who does anyway?), I went to Wired Cafe instead at Hysan, Causeway Bay.

Located on 13/F, the wired cafe is colourful and modern. It is furnished in deep wood with bold colours highlights with artistic garnishments. The cafe is spacious with loads of seating. The ambience is chill and relaxing.

There are a lot of items on the menu, but I ordered the Dutch pancakes. The Dutch pancake was served after a 10-15 minutes wait. Served straightly from the cast iron pan, the Dutch pancake was fresh and hot.

Spelling mistakes on the menu?

Apple Cinnamon Pancake with Caramel Syrup Dutch Pancake

The Dutch pancake was soft and chewy like mochi with a toasted crust and base. It was caramel and extremely eggy. I was disappointed that I could not taste the cinnamon flavour it in though.

The baked apple was appropriately sour and baked soft. I found it funny that they put crackers onto the dutch pancake, I don't find them matching at all. The amount of caramel syrup was little but good enough to give taste.

The Wired Cafe is really lay back, so you could spend as much time you want in there. The other food and dessert on the menu look delicious and I am definitely coming back for them.

The Wired Cafe also does Happy Hour special. If you come during 5pm - 8pm, all alcohol drinks are buy 1 get 1 free! Will there be a ladies night some time later? Lol
