The Sky Lounge is a beautiful dome shaped lounge located on the top floor of Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa. We paid a visit on the last night since we were busy doing nothing the previous nights. We came here mainly because we went for a nap, woke up at 10pm and found nowhere would still offer food at this late hour but the Sky Lounge. To our greatest surprises, the food here was actually amazing.

The doom shaped indoor lounge area features comfy lounge chairs and a futuristic bar area. We opted for outdoor seating as we found the balcony offers a breath taking panoramic view of the Nha Trang beach. Look how beautiful it is! The outdoor area was very chill with sexy Frank Sinatra music playing at the lounge area. I absolutely love it here.
The Sky Lounge at Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa offers an extensive list of international cuisines, but we opted for some Vietnamese dishes as always! Since we came pretty late, some of the specialties were already sold out. We were still able to chose some great dishes from the menu though.
Grilled Scallop
Scallops at Nha Trang aren't as fatty as the ones in Hong Kong, but they are still delicious. The petite scallops were flavourable with the use of chives, olive oil and lime.
Beef Tenderloin Served with Rice
This beef tenderloin with rice is a modern vietnamese dish. The beef cubes were tender and savoury. The tomato rice were savoury, fried dry and grease free. The addition of lime and sea salt made the dish more Vietnamese tasted.
Stir-fried Pork in Clay Pot
Another delicious dish of the night, the broth in the clay pot was heavenly flavourful! We cleared the pot completely with the rice given and the french fries that we ordered as sides. The pork was tender and soaked up the broth which was wonderful.
French Fries
We teased again and again the Russians on having Western food in Nha Trang, but on our last night in Nha Trang we suddenly have this fat crave that we ordered a plate of french fries ourselves. And holy shit, this is one of the best french fries I have ever tasted! The fries was crispy on the outside and had this crazily chewy texture on the inside which was utterly addicting. We could not help but gorged on the fries until the very last fries disappeared on the plate.
We sat down at this very comfy armchair after our wonderful meal and headed back to our suite after finishing our beer.
