Kraze Burger | American or Korean?

Price: $
Cravingness: ★★★☆☆1/2

We passed by Kraze Burger lots of time in iSquare, but didn't have a chance to try it until today. Kraze burger is a Korean Fast food restaurant which provides Burgers, Sandwiches and Fries. Kraze Burger stresses on freshness and claimed to provide healthy burgers. Every menu on kraze was made to order to ensure freshness. They only use whole chucks from US premium catte to make their patties and would also baked their own bread and cook their own sauce.

Kraze Burger is extremely spaceous, the area is huge to the point that I wonder whether it could ever get filled up. The outlook of Kraze gives an impression of American fast food restaurant. It also has a pop art styled menu, which reminds me of those American comics. However if you checked the instore Tv screen out, you could see Korean Music MTVs on shown 24/7. So, is Kraze trying to position itself as Korean Style Fast Food Restaurant or American Style Fast Food Restaurant?

There were a lot of burger choices in Kraze. However when you read through the menu, you found them all pretty similar to each other. Fries could came in set with a can of soft drinks at a price of $20 on top of any burger, which was pretty much a reasonable price.

Original Fries/ Bacon and Cheese Fries
The fries looked small on the picture but the portion was actually large. The Bacon and Cheese Fries were nicer than the original fries in many ways. First, although both the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, Original's texture was harder than the Bacon Fries. Thus Bacon seemed to be more freshly made. Second, the Bacon's toppings were very savory. The cheese were all melted and could be pulled with each strand of the fries. What's more, the fries kept its crispiness under the toppings throughout the whole meal! This was quite impressive, as fries turned soft rather easily.

Maximum $75 + Fried Egg $8
The bun was quite nice, it was slightly toasted to give a crispy surface. Maximum was supposed to be hot and spicy, but the spiciness was very light that I could not really taste the spiciness in it. The burger was very juicy, tender and soft. The special steakburger sauce was tasty too, I wish to know their secret receipy!Kraze's burgers were generally large. My Maximum burger was about 10cm tall before compressing it. Despite adding extra ingredients to your burger e.g. egg, cheese, you could choose to have either plain bun or wheat bun to go with your burger. The Maximum came sliced in half with two little cute plastic picks to hold all the ingredients in shape. Do remind that, once you pull out the pick, your burger will fall apart and got messy. Check the sliced burgers, you would see a beautiful layers of bread, fresh green lettuce, tomato and onion slices, cheese and a beef patty.

Mega Bits $88
I knew my Meat Lover would chose Mega Bites as it contained two two juicy beef patties and two slices of cheese along with fresh onion slice, lettuce and homemade pickles. Sad that it did not have any tomato slices in it, or else the burger would look nicer. This Mega Bits were pretty big in size too. It came with a wheat bun which was very delicious! It was different from those hard coarse wheat bun, Kraze’s wheat bun was soft. In my opinion, it tasted better than original bun. Eating Mega Bits you could definitely tasted a stronger beef and cheese taste with the double juicy beef patties and cheese. Eating the Mega was less messy than Maximum, as there were less ingredients in it.
