Milky Cow is located in such an inconvenient spot that I thought I would never be able to come. I once said 'who will go to midlevel just to try a froyo?', and went upset about won't be able to include milky cow in my froyo race. Well, fortune came and this day I went pass Milky Cow after visiting my friend's restaurant in midlevels!
Milky Cow was owned by a foreigner who lived somewhere nearby. As I went into the store, the owner greeted and chat with us casually, which made me feel like home. The side wall of the store was a mirror which made the store seemingly a lot more spaceous than most of the other froyo stores in Hong Kong, yet the number of seatings were similar. There were a lot of toppings to choose from, from fresh fruits, to chocolate, granola and cereals. From the picture you can see there were a lot of colourful ingredients, which would give the kids a hard choice for sure.
My froyo was an original one with mango and granola. The froyo tasted nice with a taste of yogurt but not as sour and was only slightly sweet. The texture was tarty and smooth, the tartiness was somewhere in between Bestberry and Berrygood. The mango cubes were very fresh and sweet. The granola was very nice too. It was toasted nicely, crispy but not too dry.
